Ingredients & Measurements (1 cup)
- Fresh ginger: 1 inch piece (sliced or crushed)
- Water: 1 cup (250 ml)
- Lemon juice: 1–2 teaspoons (freshly squeezed)
- Honey: 1–2 teaspoons (to taste)
How to Prepare
- Add ginger to water and boil for 5–10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly (very important).
- Add lemon juice and honey.
- Stir well and sip warm.
Never add honey to boiling-hot water—it destroys its healing properties.
