🤧 COLD, COUGH & SORE THROAT REMEDY (GINGER + HONEY + LEMON DRINK)

 Ingredients & Measurements (1 cup)

  • Fresh ginger: 1 inch piece (sliced or crushed)
  • Water: 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Lemon juice: 1–2 teaspoons (freshly squeezed)
  • Honey: 1–2 teaspoons (to taste)

 How to Prepare

  1. Add ginger to water and boil for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly (very important).
  3. Add lemon juice and honey.
  4. Stir well and sip warm.

 Never add honey to boiling-hot water—it destroys its healing properties.

 Usage Tips

  • Add a pinch of black pepper if the cough is stubborn
  • Avoid lemon if the throat is extremely raw or acidic sensitivity exists

Suitable for kids above 1 year (no honey for babies under 1)
