  • Sometimes nausea or diarrhea (more common in children)

Characteristics:
Flu symptoms are often whole-body and more severe. Recovery can take 1–2 weeks.

Warm Honey-Ginger-Lemon Immunity Drink
This soothing drink helps calm sore throats, ease coughing, support hydration, and provide gentle relief for cold or flu discomfort.

🥣 How to Make It

Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 1 ½ cups hot water
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
  • 1–2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
  • Optional:
    • A pinch of cinnamon
    • 1–2 slices of fresh turmeric or ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ginger:
    Grate or thinly slice the fresh ginger.
  2. Heat the water:

    Remove ginger pieces if you prefer a smooth drink.
  5. Add honey and lemon:
    Stir in honey (when water is warm, not boiling) and squeeze in fresh lemon juice.
