🀒 NAUSEA & MORNING SICKNESS(🌿 GINGER + LEMON (REDUCES NAUSEA))

Ingredients & measurements

  • Fresh ginger: 1–2 cm piece (about 1 tsp grated or 4–5 thin slices)
  • Fresh lemon juice: 1–2 tsp
  • Water: 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Optional: Β½ tsp honey (only if you like a little sweetness)

How to prepare

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add ginger, reduce heat, and simmer 5–10 minutes (longer = stronger).
  3. Strain into a cup, add lemon juice.
  4. Sweeten lightly if needed.

Benefits

  • Ginger helps block nausea signals in the gut
  • Lemon freshens the stomach and reduces queasiness
  • Helps with bloating and indigestion, too

Best time to take

  • First thing in the morning (before getting out of bed if possible)
  • Or sip between meals when nausea hits

Shelf/fridge life

  • Fresh is best
  • Can be refrigerated up to 24 hours in a covered glass jar

Usage tips

  • Sip slowly, don’t gulp
  • If ginger feels too strong, use less or shorten the simmer time

Ginger candies or biscuits can complement this on rough days
