Ingredients (1 serving)
- Fresh ginger – ½ inch piece (grated or crushed)
- Cumin seeds (jeera) – ½ teaspoon
- Ajwain (carom seeds) – ¼ teaspoon
- Water – 1 cup (250 ml)
- Optional: Rock salt – a pinch
How to Make
- Add water, ginger, cumin seeds, and ajwain to a small pan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and strain into a cup.
- Add a pinch of rock salt if desired.
- Drink warm.
