Parsley Tea (Traditional Kidney Cleanse Tea)

A time-honored herbal infusion known for its gentle cleansing properties. Ingredients

  • 1 small handful fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • 2 cups boiling water

Method

  1. Rinse the parsley thoroughly and roughly tear it to help release its natural oils.
  2. Place the parsley in a heat-safe cup or teapot.
  3. Pour boiling water over the herbs.
  4. Cover and steep for 10 minutes for fresh parsley, or 5–7 minutes if using dried.
  5. Strain the tea.
  6. Add a slice of lemon if desired and sip warm.
