Classic Herb & Citrus Salt-Free Turkey Rub

A bright, aromatic blend perfect for classic roasted turkey. Herbs and citrus zest add freshness without the need for salt.

Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp dried rosemary, crushed
1 tbsp dried sage
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp paprika (sweet or smoked)
1 tsp black pepper
1–2 tsp lemon zest (freshly grated)
Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes for heat

Simple Method
Mix all the dried herbs and spices in a bowl.

Your homemade rub stays fresh for about 3–6 months when stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
(If it contains fresh lemon zest, use within 1–2 weeks or add the zest fresh on cooking day.)
Add fresh lemon zest and stir to combine.
Store in an airtight jar.
Rub onto oiled turkey (over and under the skin) before cooking.
