👶 Baby-Safe Non-Toxic Vaseline

This formula avoids essential oils, fragrances, and potent plant extracts.
It’s soft, soothing, and made to protect tender baby skin without irritation.

🌿 Ingredients (4 oz / 120 ml baby jelly)

These ratios give you a silky, gentle, creamy jelly that melts easily on the skin.

Base Ingredients

  • Beeswax pellets – 1 tablespoon (10 g)
(acts as a gentle protective barrier)
  • Organic unrefined shea butter – 2 tablespoons (30 g)
    (softens, calms, prevents dryness)
  • Cold-pressed jojoba oil – ÂĽ cup (60 ml)
(closest to natural skin oils; very low allergen risk)

Optional (recommended)

  • Vitamin E oil – 2–3 drops
(extends shelf life + nourishes skin)

Vegan alternative

Replace beeswax with candelilla wax — ½ tablespoon (5 g)
(it’s more firm, so use half the amount)

 Instructions

  1. Melt the wax first
In a double boiler (or a heatproof bowl over simmering water), melt the beeswax entirely on LOW heat.
  2. Add shea butter
Stir until it melts into a smooth liquid.
  3. Add jojoba oil
Pour it in and stir gently until everything is combined.
  4. Turn off the heat
Let the mixture cool for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Add vitamin E (optional)
    Stir well.
  6. Pour into a clean glass jar
Let it cool until it sets into a soft jelly.

 Why This Formula Is Baby-Safe

  • Shea butter & jojoba are hypoallergenic, rich in natural vitamins.
