 Benefits of Each Ingredient

Coconut Oil

  • Antibacterial
  • Creates a smooth base
  • Helps reduce plaque buildup

Baking Soda

  • Gently abrasive to lift stains
  • Neutralizes acids
  • Naturally polishes enamel

Activated Charcoal (optional)

  • Absorbs surface stains
  • Detoxifies the mouth
  • Avoid if you have sensitive enamel (too abrasive if overused)

Hydrogen Peroxide 3% (optional)

  • Lightly whitens by breaking down surface stains
  • Must be used sparingly
  • Not recommended for daily use

Xylitol

  • Reduces cavity-causing bacteria
  • Adds sweetness
  • Helps maintain healthy saliva pH

Peppermint Essential Oil

  • Freshens breath
  • Mild antibacterial properties
  • Improves flavor

 Usage Tips

  • Use a pea-sized amount to brush.
  • Brush 2 minutes, 2–3 times per week for whitening blends.
    • (Daily use is fine if you remove peroxide + charcoal.)
  • Avoid swallowing the paste.
  • If teeth become sensitive, reduce baking soda use or stop using peroxide.
  • For extra whitening:
    • Let the paste sit on the teeth for 1 minute before brushing.

 Shelf Life & Storage
