This is a classic homemade topical—easy to make, powerful in small amounts, and best used externally only 🌿🔥

🌿 Ingredients & Measurements

Basic Infused Oil (Beginner-friendly)

  • Cayenne pepper (powder): 1–2 teaspoons
    (start low; cayenne is potent)
  • Virgin coconut oil: ½ cup

Optional Add-ins (after infusion)

  • Beeswax (for a firmer balm): 1–2 tablespoons
  • Essential oils (optional):
    • Peppermint (cooling)
    • Lavender (soothing)
      (5–10 drops total)

🔥 How to Prepare

Infusion Method (Best Balance of Strength + Safety)

  1. Place coconut oil and cayenne in a heat-safe glass jar.
  2. Set jar in a saucepan with a few inches of water (double boiler).
  3. Heat on low for 1–2 hours. Do not boil.
  4. Stir occasionally.
  5. Strain through cheesecloth (optional, but gentler on skin).
  6. Let cool and store.

Balm Option

  1. While the oil is still warm, add beeswax.
  2. Stir until fully melted.
  3. Pour into a small jar or tin and let it set.
