 Ingredients & Measurements (1 cup)

  • Fresh ginger: ½ inch (grated or crushed)
  • Fresh garlic: 1 small clove (crushed)
  • Water: 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon honey or a few drops of lemon juice

 How to Prepare

  1. Boil ginger in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and add crushed garlic.
  3. Cover and let it steep for 3–5 minutes (do not boil garlic).
  4. Strain, add honey or lemon if desired, and drink warm.
